PRODIGY — Hybrid SiO₂ Wet Coat Sealant (HI-CON Series)

PRODIGY is D-TAIL LAB’s hybrid SiO₂ + polymer spray-on / rinse-off protection that delivers up to 3 months of durable hydrophobics, slick feel, and crisp gloss in minutes.

What PRODIGY Does

Boosts water beading and surface slickness while enhancing clarity on paint, plastics, glass, and wheels (cool). The hybrid chemistry leaves a uniform protective layer as you rinse.

Directions

Important — Dilution

• Use demineralized water. Dilute 1:20 up to 1:50 (product:water) depending on desired strength.

Wet Coat (spray-on / rinse-off)

1. Work on a cool, shaded vehicle that has been freshly washed and left wet.
2. Spray PRODIGY evenly on wet surfaces (paint, glass, plastics, wheels).
3. Rinse immediately with a pressure washer to activate and level the protection. Do not allow the product to dry on the surface.
4. Dry with a clean microfiber drying towel or forced air.

Dry-Surface Application (alternative method)

1. Panel must be clean and cool. For best bonding, perform a panel wipe to remove polishing oils.
2. Apply 1–2 sprays to a microfiber/foam applicator and work a small section (≤ ~60 cm × 60 cm).
3. Buff off immediately with a quality edgeless microfiber towel. If working outdoors, you may spray onto a wet microfiber, spread, then finish with a dry towel.

Compatibility & Care

• Safe on most exterior washable surfaces when used as directed; always spot test sensitive trims.
• Never let the product dry on the panel; re-wet and re-rinse if needed.
• Maintain with a pH-neutral shampoo to maximize longevity.

Good to Know

For best results, pre-wash with a contactless foam (e.g., ROGUE) and follow with a pH-neutral contact wash (e.g., ORIGIN) before applying the wet coat.
