AUTOGRAPH v2 EVOLVE is D-TAIL LAB’s advanced ceramic spray coating that bonds at a molecular level on clear-coated paint, wheels, glass, trim, rubber mouldings, and plastics—delivering extended durability and stronger protection than traditional waxes and sealants, while being easier to apply than conventional coatings.

What AUTOGRAPH v2 Does

Fills surface pores and lays down a durable SiO₂-rich layer to boost water beading, UV resistance, and slickness—enhancing clarity and depth across exterior surfaces.

Surface Preparation is Key
  1. Deep Clean: Thoroughly wash the vehicle to remove dirt and any old protection.
  2. Decontaminate: Perform a chemical decon (e.g., PURGE iron remover) and a physical decon with a clay towel. For lubrication during claying, foam the vehicle with a pH-neutral shampoo (e.g., ORIGIN), then clay.
  3. Paint Correction: If needed, correct/enhance paint using an oil-free compound and polish to maximize gloss.
  4. Prepare for Bonding: Wipe all residue with a pre-coat surface prep (e.g., REVEAL) about 1 hour before application to ensure optimal bonding.
Application Instructions
  1. Shake well.
  2. Remove the white cap, insert the sprayer tube, and screw the sprayer onto the bottle.
  3. Spray onto a foam or microfiber applicator. Work one panel at a time, ideally ≤ 40 cm × 40 cm (≈16 in × 16 in).
  4. Allow a brief flash/haze (~10–20 seconds, depending on temperature and humidity).
  5. Buff off with a clean, long-pile edgeless microfiber in a cross pattern until smudge-free.
  6. When finished, remove the sprayer, rinse it clean, and reinstall the twist cap on the bottle.
Curing & Layering
  • Second layer (optional): wait ~30 minutes before applying another coat.
  • Cure time: avoid the elements/water for ~4 hours after application.

Compatibility & Care

  • Safe on coated, sealed, or bare finishes; always test on sensitive trims first.
  • Do not apply on hot panels or in direct sun; do not let product dry before buffing.
  • Maintain with a pH-neutral wash to maximize durability.

Directions for Use:

Surface Preparation is Key

  1. Deep Clean: Thoroughly wash your vehicle to remove all dirt and any existing protective layers.
  2. Decontaminate: Perform both chemical decon using PURGE and physical decon using a clay towel to eliminate all ferrous and other contaminants. For lubrication, we recommend foaming the vehicle using ORIGIN shampoo before claying.
  3. Paint Correction: Perform a proper paint correction or enhancement using a filler and oil-free compound and polish to maximize gloss.
  4. Prepare for Bonding: Clean all residue from the surfaces using REVEAL pre-coat surface prep fluid 1 hour before application. This ensures the coating bonds optimally.

Application Instructions

  1. Shake Well: Vigorously agitate the AUTOGRAPH container before application.
  2. Remove the WHITE CAP
  3. Insert the SPRAYER TUBRE and screw the sprayer to the bottle.
  4. Apply and Spread: Spray the coating onto a foam or microfiber applicator. Spread it evenly over one panel at a time, ideally in sections no larger than 40 cm x 40 cm (approximately 16 in x 16 in).
  5. Wait for Flash/Haze: Allow the coating to flash or haze, which typically takes 10 to 20 seconds depending on room temperature and humidity.
  6. Buff Off: Using a long-pile, edgeless microfiber towel, wipe the coating off in a cross pattern until the panel is smudge-free.
  7. When Finish : Unscrew the sprayer from the bottle, make sure your clean it well and screw back the twisted cap on the bottle.

Curing and Layering

  • Second Layer (Optional): If desired, wait 30 minutes before applying a second layer.
  • Cure Time: Allow 4 hours for the coating to cure before exposing it to the elements.
