XCON quickly dissolves hard water spots, mineral deposits (calcium/lime), and related buildup on paint and glass, restoring a clean, uniform surface that’s ready for polishing or protection.
What XCON Does
Breaks down mineral-bound contamination that regular washing can’t remove.
Speeds prep before compounding, sealing, or ceramic coating.
Targets problem areas on glass and glossy exterior plastics when used as directed.
Avoid hot panels or direct sun. Do not use on bare/polished aluminum or other sensitive, uncoated metals. Always spot-test first.
Avoidceramiccoatings: High-concentration acids can break down the polymer chains that bind the SiO_2 particles. This "softens" the coating, making it lose its hardness. The acid can "strip" the top layer of the coating that provides the water-beading effect. Even if the coating isn't fully gone, it will stop performing (water will "sheet" or "flat" instead of beading).
Directions
Wash and dry the vehicle first.
Work on a cool surface. Spray XCON onto the panel (or onto a microfiber for controlled application).
For water spots: gently work the area until deposits dissolve, then wipe clean.
For heavier mineral buildup: allow a brief dwell (~3 minutes) while monitoring, then rinse thoroughly. Do not let product dry.
Follow with a pH-neutral wash or rinseless wipe-down to neutralize residues.
Pro Tip: Work panel-by-panel. On glass, finish with straight-line passes (vertical inside, horizontal outside) so any remaining streak is easy to spot.
Safety & Care
Acidic chemistry — wear gloves/eye protection.
Do not use on hot surfaces or in direct sunlight. Do not allow to dry.
Rinse tools and towels after use. Always test in an inconspicuous area first.
Keep a dedicated set of microfibers for acidic products and replace them regularly. For severe etching or long-set water spots, follow XCON with polishing.
